Message to Point Pleasant Residents for 2/9/17
This is the Sacramento County Department of Water Resources with a flood warning for the Community of Point Pleasant. The National Weather Service California Nevada River Forecast Center is forecasting that the river gauge at Benson’s Ferry and Michigan Bar will reach flood stages. Flood stages are estimated to occur at Benson’s Ferry on February 11th. However, Lambert Road at Snodgrass Slough may start overtopping as early as February 10th. Residents are strongly advised to take any precautionary actions they feel appropriate to protect themselves or property. Residents are encouraged to monitor rainfall amounts and stream gauge levels until February 13th.
